ACTIVITY REWARDS

Activity Rewards are an OOC mechanic introduced in August 2025 as a way to allow players to have more options to connect with the setting. These rewards are entirely optional, but for those who are interested, let's get into how they work!

HOW TO⟡ Each thread that includes at least 5 comments made by your character is eligible to earn 1 point! This is also the maximum number of points that can be earned from a thread. (A thread with 10 comments from your character is still 1 point, not 2.)

⟡ Threads may only be used for rewards once. Threads are fine to be used for both Activity Check and Activity Rewards, however.

⟡ Through reward points, you can obtain prizes! Currently, these requests are made OOCly only, but there's a rumor around Bottlecap Bay that lately wishes have been coming true. Please feel free to say your character wished something adjacent to the reward you are cashing in for.

⟡ If you would like to participate in rewards, follow instructions at the bottom of the post to create your top level, bank reward points, and cash out for prizes!

PRIZE OPTIONS

XS PRIZE (20 POINTS)

For each XS Prize, you may choose ONE of the bullet points below:

⟡ SMALL COSMETIC CHANGE an alteration to colors or design that does not meaningfully change the base of the Pokemon. Some examples are eye color changes, a slightly different shade of the same base color (pale pink instead of purple pink, dark green instead of lime green), very minor shape changes (like a normal Pichu becoming Spiky-eared), or highlight/accent colors being changed entirely (like Pikachu's ear tips being red instead of black).

⟡ SMALL ABILITY a move that is normally not learnable by your Pokemon type, but does not deal damage, comes to your character in a dream.

⟡ SMALL ITEM any item found in a Pokemon game such as berries, evolution stones, power-up items, etc.

S PRIZE (40 POINTS)

For each S Prize, you may choose ONE of the bullet points below:

⟡ EVOLUTION* evolve your Pokemon one stage.
* As an extra condition to this reward, rather than just waking up changed like with most rewards, characters must evolve during a meaningful moment - either following a moment of personal character development, or a moment when evolving is the only thing that lets them handle a threat. This does not need to be threaded and we won't be asking for proof, but you are welcome to put it in the description if you'd like. It's also fine to buy an evolution ahead of time and save it for a meaningful moment later.

⟡ LARGE COSMETIC CHANGE an alteration to colors or design that is more significant than the small cosmetic change above. Some examples are base colors changing entirely (red instead of blue for a Squirtle), Mimikyu's rag appearing to resemble a Pokemon other than Pikachu, altering shapes or designs of the Pokemon more significantly (like a Pichu getting Raichu ears), and significant additional patterns like stripes, spots, or etc.

⟡ LARGE ABILITY a move that is normally not learnable by your Pokemon type, but deals damage, comes to your character in a dream.

⟡ HOME OUTFIT an outfit from home translated into wear for their Pokemon form, for their convenience!

⟡ HOME ITEM (BASIC) an item from home that can be adapted into the Pokemon setting and are not magical or powerful in nature.

M PRIZE (60 POINTS)

For each M Prize, you may choose ONE of the bullet points below:

⟡ HOME ITEM (SPECIAL) an item from home that can be adapted into the Pokemon setting but are magical or powerful in nature.

⟡ TYPE ADDITION add an additional typing to your Pokemon. Can only be added if your Pokemon is a single type. (i.e. Pikachu becoming Electric/Fairy) This will NOT grant any alterations to the design of the Pokemon, and you must purchase that separately.

⟡ TYPE REMOVAL remove a typing from your Pokemon. Can only be removed if your Pokemon has two types. (i.e. Dedenne becoming pure Electric) This will NOT grant any alterations to the design of the Pokemon, and you must purchase that separately.

L PRIZE (80 POINTS)

For each L Prize, you may choose ONE of the bullet points below:

⟡ NEW FORM* an elaborate reward that entirely reworks the design of your Pokemon. (i.e. themed Pokemon, such as a Leafeon based more heavily around flowers, a Gastly that is actually a fried egg, etc). This can include ONE type change and large cosmetic changes together.
* You may optionally have this change happen during a meaningful moment, like the conditions for Evolution, rather than your character waking up changed.

XL PRIZE (100 POINTS)

For each XL Prize, you may choose ONE of the bullet points below:

⟡ MERGED FORM* a horrific reward that merges your Pokemon with another. This reward may cause pain, body horror, identity issues, etc. You may choose one second Pokemon to "absorb" into your current, and describe the type changes, appearance changes, and name.
* You may optionally have this change happen during a meaningful moment, like the conditions for Evolution, rather than your character waking up changed.

REWARD SUBMISSIONS

PRIZE TIME!TOP LEVEL. Create a top level chain, like with AC, starting with your player name, and including any characters you play in game you'd wish to add. Sample below.

BANK POINTS. Bank points by filling out the BANKING FORM below, and replying to your character's top level with "BANK" in the subject line.

BUY PRIZES. Spend points by filling out the PRIZE FORM below, and replying to your character's top level with "PRIZE" in the subject line.

GET APPROVED. Once a mod has reviewed your prize submission and determined all threads valid and the request allowable, your reward will be accepted!
